Step Up To Quality is a program that recognizes development programs , licensing standards , and safety regulations for childcare facilities in Ohio. A Better Choice Day Care and Learning Center works to meet and exceed these standards of quality care by providing an environment where parents can be involved with their child's learning foundation. Our center has monthly family engagement opportunities to get our parents involved in the development of their children. From workshops to volunteer opportunities, you can make a lasting impact on your child's future!
PROCARE
A Better Choice Daycare and Learning Center keeps our parents connected and at ease with Procare. Procare is a communication app for the classroom. It connects teachers to parents so a daily report can be given each day. We can notify you of when your child was changed, when they went to the restroom, what they ate for today, when they slept, send reminders, and daily activities. We will use Procare to work together as a team, share the classroom experience, and bring big ideas to life in the classroom.
Developmental Learning Assessment
All children must take a Developmental Learning Assessment within 30-days of enrollment. The assessments allow us to see where your child is in five major areas based upon their age: communication, gross motor, fine motor, problem solving, and personal-social.
