OUR PROGRAM:
Our Head Start Program is an income-based program for ages 3, 4 and 5 (5 years old ready for kindergarten). The program provides children and families with the strong foundation they need for long-term success in school and life. Designed for preschool-aged children, Head Start offers a high-quality, early-learning experience that supports each child’s growth in language, social-emotional development, early math and literacy, health, and daily living skills.
At our center, we believe that children learn best when families are fully involved. That’s why our Head Start program partners closely with parents to create a warm, structured, and supportive environment where every child can thrive. Families receive consistent communication, access to resources, and individualized support to help meet educational and developmental goals.
Through safe classrooms, hands-on learning, nutritional support, and knowledgeable teachers, our Head Start program prepares children not only for kindergarten—but for confidence, independence, and lifelong learning.
Highlights of Our Head Start Program:
- Developmentally appropriate curriculum and engaging daily activities.
- Individualized learning plans tailored to each child’s needs.
- Support for social-emotional skills, problem-solving, and self-help skills.
- Health, nutrition, and developmental screenings.
- Strong parent partnerships and family-support services.
- Safe, nurturing classrooms led by trained early-childhood educators.
The difference between our Head Start and Pre-K program is that Pre-K has fewer family services. Pre-K does not typically include the extra wrap-around services (health screenings, family partnership plans, mental-health support) that Head Start provides.
